Can cats still extend and retract their claws with the Soft Paws?
If you are considering using Soft Paws® but are concerned about whether the nail caps will "trap" your cat's claws in an extended position, worry no longer! Soft Paws® cover a cat's nail, but they do not interfere with the action of the claw itself. The caps are not glued to your cat's skin, but are strictly applied to the nail. The tendon that controls the use of the claw is not affected in any way by the nail caps. Your cat will still be able to stretch out, fully extend the claws, and then relax them back to their resting position. The only thing Soft Paws® nail caps interfere with is the ability for your cat's nail to damage you or your belongings.

LI'L CHICK: I've always believed that love can cross species. My human and I are proof of that, after all. Further proof arrived in the mail yesterday in the form of my new Li'l Chick. It's adorable, and even though I know it's not a kitten, I find myself treating it like one. I like to carry it around, keep it close, give it some play time, dunk it in my water dish so it can get a drink, and tuck it into my bed with me at night. I think it loves me too.

BIG SKYE MOUSE: Cats and mice, mice and cats. For centuries, we've been associated with each other. I don't know, I think mice are kind of cute, and I'm glad I don't have to eat them. My human gives me plenty to eat, so I have the luxury of being friends with all the mice I meet. Take this guy, for instance. I just think he's adorable! So soft, catnippy, and I love to grab him by the tail and shake him around. Er, don't worry, he doesn't mind! It's all in good fun!
